St. Stephen’s Basilica was absolutely breathtaking. From the moment we stepped inside, we were amazed by the stunning architecture, intricate details, and the peaceful yet grand atmosphere. Every corner of the basilica felt majestic and beautifully designed.nnClimbing up to the tower was truly worth it — the view from the top completely took our breath away. Seeing the city from above was an unforgettable experience and made the visit even more special.nnIt’s definitely a must-see landmark and one of the most impressive places we visited.

We visited St. Stephen’s Basilica in Budapest with my wife on October 18, 2025, and it was an absolutely breathtaking experience.nnThe architecture is simply stunning. From the outside, the basilica looks grand and impressive, and once you step inside, the atmosphere immediately makes you slow down and just admire the beauty around you. Every detail feels thoughtful, elegant, and full of history.nnThe interior is incredibly rich and harmonious at the same time. Beautifully decorated, peaceful, and inspiring. It’s a place where you can truly feel the spirit of Budapest and enjoy a moment of calm, even when the city outside is busy.nnWe spent time just walking around, looking up, taking it all in, and enjoying the moment together. It’s one of those places that leaves you with warm emotions and a lasting impression.nnIf you are visiting Budapest, St. Stephen’s Basilica is a mustsee landmark. An iconic place with amazing architecture, great energy, and unforgettable vibes. Highly recommended!

Absolutely breathtaking basilica — truly magnificent. The Holy Right Hand relic is a must-see in Budapest and was very special to experience in person.nThe entrance fee for the basilica is reasonable, and the panoramic view from the dome is stunning. However, the treasury felt more like a small storage exhibition from the basilica itself — there wasn’t much to see, and it’s quite small. I can understand why it’s combined with the panorama ticket, as it might not attract many visitors on its own (sorry!).nThe organization could be improved and made more tourist-friendly, especially for those who want to visit the treasury and the panorama after seeing the inside of the basilica, the way directions are quite confusing.

St. Stephen’s Basilica in Budapest is an absolute masterpiece and a must see attraction. The architecture is phenomenal, with its grand dome, intricate details, and beautifully decorated interior leaving a lasting impression. The Treasury is fascinating and offers a deeper insight into the basilica’s history and religious significance. One of the highlights is the terrace at the top the view over Budapest is truly breathtaking and well worth the climb or elevator ride. The atmosphere inside is both peaceful and majestic, making it a memorable experience whether you’re visiting for its spiritual importance or architectural beauty. A truly iconic landmark that should not be missed.

Absolutely amazing, stunning & incredible details inside the basilica. I just can't take my eyes off this beautiful interior.nnWe were glad and so fortunate to have the opportunity to go in for free on the X'mas eve (24/12/25 9am-8pm). There was an organ performance started at 3pm. We totally synced in and enjoyed our calm & quiet time in there.nnThere was a X'mas market just outside the Basilica. The giant Xmas tree 🌲 lights was not on yet when we left the place at 3.30pm.
