This is a unique experience among all the observation decks we’ve been to, as it’s much higher than all others — and more expensive as well. We didn’t expect the line was that long, so we purchased the VIP which was 2x higher priced. The panoramic views were absolutely stunning without a doubt. We were there in a late afternoon, which turned out to be a good time as one can enjoy the views under the setting sun and evening when the lights were on. A must see in Dubai.

Beautiful views, but not comparable with what you see in Manhattan from the Empire State or the Summit.
I found the price to be too high for the value you get.
Even when you arrive at your designated time, you still have to wait for one hour or more to get to the top.
Part of the view area is outdoors, and you can get a direct view, but the rest can only be seen through the windows, and it's difficult to get clean pictures.

I visited the Burj Khalifa during sunset and the view was absolutely stunning. The city looks beautiful from the 124th and 125th floors, and the observation deck is well organized with clear glass panels for great photos. The elevator ride is super fast and smooth.
It can get a bit crowded during peak times, so booking in advance is helpful. Overall, an unforgettable experience and definitely worth visiting if you’re in Dubai!

Burj Khalifa – At The Top is more than just an observation deck; it is an experience that reshapes how you perceive height, scale, and the city itself. From the moment the high-speed elevator begins its silent ascent, there is a sense of anticipation that builds with every passing second. When the doors open, Dubai reveals itself not as a city, but as a living map spread endlessly beneath your feet.
Standing at At The Top, the world feels calmer and more ordered. Skyscrapers that once seemed towering become miniature sculptures, highways curve like ribbons, and the Arabian Desert fades softly into the horizon. The contrast between modern architecture, the blue of the Arabian Gulf, and the golden tones of the desert creates a view that changes subtly with the light of the day. Morning offers clarity and sharp detail, while sunset transforms the city into a glowing canvas of amber and violet hues.
What makes the experience truly special is not only the height, but the perspective it offers. Interactive displays quietly tell the story of Dubai’s transformation, allowing visitors to connect the view with the ambition behind it. The glass walls invite unhurried moments—time seems to slow as you take in the vastness below.
At night, At The Top becomes almost magical. The city lights shimmer like constellations, and the Dubai Fountain dances far below in perfect rhythm. Whether you are visiting for the first time or returning again, Burj Khalifa – At The Top leaves a lasting impression, reminding you how vision, patience, and imagination can elevate a city into the sky.

One of those hyped up, yet must-do experiences in Dubai! I had bought a ticket for 5 pm, hoping to witness the sunset from the top.
The queue on a Monday turned out to be 2 hours+. There were so many children and elderly people in the queue. People got tired of waiting and sat on the floor. There were no seats along the way, which is an area of improvement, I feel.
Other than the endless waiting, the experience was fantastic. The world's fastest elevator was simply mind-blowing! Took us to the 124th floor in a minute!!
When I finally reached the top, it was around 7 pm and the whole city was brightly lit up. A glowing Dubai looked like a dream from above!
Suggest taking the evening tour only if you can wait because it is highly sought-after and you can't avoid the queues. Otherwise go for the morning/afternoon tours where the waiting time is very little.
